Riders must also wear dry clothing: no wet swimming trunks or bare chests.<\/li><li>The lessor declines any responsibility for accidents and subsequent consequences, as well as damage caused by the lessee to third parties, public or private.<\/li><li>The hirer is responsible for the rented equipment both in case of accident, damage, violations or theft. Repair costs, loss of enjoyment and depreciation of value caused by his fault, carelessness or negligence are the responsibility of the hirer.<br \/>In case of loss, theft or a case of total damage, the hirer will have to pay compensation, which corresponds to the sales value of the vehicle on the day of commencement of the rental.<\/li><li>The renter is deemed to have checked the vehicle upon departure and to have found it in impeccable condition. This privacy statement explains what data we collect, how we use it and how we ensure its security. This declaration forms part of our rental contract.<\/p><p><strong>1. Personal data collected.<\/strong><\/p><p>In order to handle the rental of bikes and gocarts correctly and safely, we collect the following personal data:<\/p><ul><li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><ul><li>surname and first name<\/li><li>date of birth<\/li><li>address<\/li><li>copy of identity card: this is by means of a paper photocopy. If you do not have an identity card or other official document, provided with your photo, (driving licence) with you, you can show this via a photo on your phone or show your personal data via Itsme. We will then take a photo of this<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p><strong>2. Purposes of processing.<\/strong><\/p><p>We process your personal data for the following purposes:<\/p><ul><li>Administrative handling of the rental agreement.<\/li><li>Identification of the tenant in case of damage or unforeseen events.<\/li><li>Legal obligations relating to accounting and record-keeping.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>3. Retention period.<\/strong><\/p><p>Your data will be kept only for the strictly necessary period:<\/p><ul><li>Maximum rental period: At\u00a0<strong>rental contracts longer than 1 day\u00a0<\/strong>your personal data will be maximally\u00a0<strong>7 years <\/strong>retained, in accordance with legal retention requirements for administrative and accounting documents.<\/li><li>Rental for up to 1 day: in the case of rental for\u00a0<strong>maximum 1 day\u00a0<\/strong>all personal data will be destroyed at the end of the rental season.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>4. Data security.<\/strong><\/p><p>We take the necessary technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, theft or unauthorised access. Your data is treated confidentially and can only be accessed by authorised personnel.<\/p><p><strong>Disclosure to third parties.<\/strong><\/p><p>Your personal data will be\u00a0<strong>not\u00a0<\/strong>transferred to third parties, unless we are legally obliged to do so or you have given your explicit consent.<\/p><p><strong>6. Your rights.<\/strong><\/p><p>You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data if it is incorrect or incomplete. Our main business is the hire of bicycles and go-karts. On very busy days, we may decline to accept repairs if we do not have the time to repair your bike. We hope you will understand.<\/p><p><strong>Repairs should <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">same day<\/span> be returned <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">retrieved<\/span>: we have no place to park bikes!!!\u00a0<\/strong>We also ask that you collect your repaired bikes one hour before closing time so that we can free up the space your bike is taking up and bring our go-karts inside before we close for the evening.<\/p><p><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">We charge a fee of \u20ac2 per calendar day the bike is stored with us<\/span> <\/em>and with a minimum of \u20ac10 and no maximum! <\/strong><\/p><p><strong>This information is also displayed in the shop and is therefore assumed to have been read by you as a customer.
